Seeking for an experienced "Leader" skilled in Plant Radiological Systems in a nuclear power environment.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for supervising the monitoring of plant radiological conditions including the performance of routine and special surveys of radiation, contamination and airborne radioactivity.
Other responsibilities include:
Maintain records of plant surveys and conditions and disseminate the results to other plant personnel as necessary.
Provide supervision for the radiation protection non-exempt staff to include: field supervision, performance appraisal, and personnel development.
Direct the purchase, inspection and calibration of radiation detection instrumentation.
Maintain individual personnel records of exposure to radiation, internal contamination and airborne radioactivity, and distribute the information to plant supervisory personnel as necessary for use in planning and scheduling radiation work.
Initiate purchase requests for radiation detection instrumentation, supplies and materials necessary for operation of the Radiation Protection Program.
Supervise the inspection and calibration of radiation detection instrumentation.
Review and revise radiation protection and equipment operating procedures as required.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Health Physics or a related science or engineering discipline, or equivalent education or experience. Five years Nuclear Power Plant experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base compensation in the $85-95k range and eligible for an annual Bonus incentive.
