Direct reports include the Inspection Supervisor and lead NDT Inspector. Areas of responsibility will include compliance with FAR 145 to make sure airworthiness of aircraft products. Tasks include making airworthiness decisions for the repair station, supervise the QC dept and ensure that inspection schedules are met, make certain that inspections are accomplished and documented to ensure maintenance complies with FAA approved technical data, maintain an active liaison with the FAA on all aircraft inspection activities, maintain and administer inspection stamps, ensuring that all materials and products comply with applicable specifications and traceability/certification requirements. All applicants must have at minimum a FAA A&P license and experience with transport aircraft.
