The Equipment Operator operates or monitors the operation of all plant equipment outside the central Control Room in such a manner as to ensure safe, efficient plant operation. The Equipment Operator works cooperatively with all plant service organizations for the effective performance of duties that interface with plant operations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of nuclear power plant experience in operations; OR an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of nuclear power plant experience in operations; OR five years of nuclear navy experience which includes nuclear prototype school completion; OR a high school diploma or GED and six years nuclear power plant experience in operations.
